There is one thing I forgot to mention.
A few miles away from the colony, we find a penguin going inland.
This is very unusual, because normally penguins always go towards the sea.
But this one has turned around and is heading straight for the mountains.

But one thing is certain:
It is heading towards certain death.
The penguin is not going to survive.
He will not find any food.
He will not find any shelter.
Eventually, he will freeze to death.
We cannot help him.
The penguin walks on.
He walks steadfastly.
He walks towards the interior of Antarctica.
Some believe this is madness.
Others see it as a kind of existential protest.
A creature turning away from the logic of nature itself.
